About me:
My name is Dave Bene, and I am the Operations Manager for St. Cecilia, a position I have been
in for one-and-a-half years. My wife Jennifer and I have been married for nearly 30 years and
have four children and one grandchild. I have been a parishioner at St. Cecilia since 1994 after
going through RCIA and converting to Catholicism. In addition to serving as an usher and
extraordinary minister at weekly mass, I also run the Men’s Prayer Brigade for the parish.

My responsibilities:
-Primary advisor on all matters of parish administration
-Work with the staff to develop operational plans to carry out the strategic vision of the parish
-Acts as the central contact for inquiries from both parish and non-parish groups and
organizations
-Directs the management of the parish office
-Responsible for the overall supervision of the maintenance and custodial staff
-Controls the use of all parish facilities by various groups
-Oversees the direct administrative, business and financial activities of the parish
-Maintains accuracy of all financial files and records while monitoring budgetary compliance
-Handles all bank relations and management of accounts
-Administers personnel policies for parish employees
-Acts as a liaison between parish and school committees and ministries
